For touch screen installations, users can make room reservations directly from the Wayfinder X display. When the booking popup opens, Wayfinder X applies the reservation settings configured for the selected room.

Make a reservation from the display
To reserve a room from the screen, press on an available room and then follow the instructions in the popup.
Room-specific reservation settings
The booking popup follows the settings configured for the selected room.
Depending on the room configuration, Wayfinder X can:
- Show or hide Meeting title
- Require Meeting title
- Show or hide Your name
- Require Your name
- Require Headcount
Hidden fields are not shown. Required fields must be completed before the reservation can be created. Optional fields may be left empty.
To adjust the settings go to specific settings for each room in the Manage -> Workspace section of the admin dashboard.
Reservation time duration limits
Wayfinder X also follows the room’s configured maximum reservation time duration.
Users cannot select a duration longer than the room allows. The + button stops at the maximum duration, and quick-select buttons longer than the maximum duration are hidden.
Example: If a room allows a maximum duration of 45 minutes, the 60 min quick-select button is hidden.
