We always strive to keep all software updated with bug fixes and new features. To make sure you have the latest version you need to follow some simple steps depending on what installation method you originally used:
Google Play
Enable automatic updates
- Find “Meeting Room Display 6” or “Goget Room Finder” or “Booking Kiosk Pro” under My Apps
- Depending on version “Auto-update” can either be shown directly on the screen or under the settings dots
- Now your version will always be up to date
Downloaded Android installation file (APK)/Room Sync series:
Update from app
- Go to General Settings -> General Device in the app
- Press Force Update
- The update process will now start and if a new version is detected it will be downloaded to the device
Update from RoomDisplayCenter
- Login to https://www.roomdisplaycenter.com with your account
- Click: “Units” then select the correct product
- Find the unit you want to update and press the icon shaped as a lightning bolt (“Update App”)
- The update process will now start and if a new version is detected it will be downloaded to the device
Enable automatic updates
- Login to https://www.roomdisplaycenter.com with your account
- Click: “Units->your product” then open the configuration guide for your device
- Under Advanced Options enable “Automatic Update”
- When a new version is released your unit will be updated the same day
