Select design theme
The Room Display X app offers two distinct design themes - SIGNATURE and LUME - each with its own visual character and functional focus.
Follow these steps to select theme:
- Login to the GOGET admin dashboard.
- Press "Manage" followed by "Workspaces" in the main menu.
- Find the room assigned to the meeting room display and open tab "Display Settings".
- Go to "Main settings -> Layout theme" to adjust the theme.
The SIGNATURE theme delivers a clean and balanced look centered around the clock widget. The clock not only shows the current time but also transforms into a scrollable day view of upcoming meetings when pressed.
This theme supports a customizable background image and logo, allowing you to align the interface with your organization’s branding. Built on the latest app technology, SIGNATURE takes advantage of advanced rendering and shadowing to create a refined and intuitive user experience.
The central clock widget provides at-a-glance visibility of the room’s booking status, making SIGNATURE both elegant and user-friendly.
SIGNATURE theme
LUME is the newest addition to Room Display X (requires version 1.1.0), designed for a modern and highly visible look. It focuses on giving users immediate insight into the room’s occupancy status and the day’s upcoming meetings - even from a distance.
The background can be displayed in black & white or full color, and the adjust background opacity feature allows you to let status colors show through the image. Lowering the opacity increases the visibility of the free/busy/tentative color indicators, making the room status stand out more clearly.
For even greater flexibility, you can define custom status colors to match your organization’s visual identity. Lume offers the most advanced options for tailoring the display’s appearance and feel.
LUME theme
Change background image
The look and feel of your Room Display can be customized by adding a background image. Enable this by entering the full URL where the image is located (e.g., https://www.example.com/background.jpg).
Keep in mind that large image files may take some time to load, and your device must have network access to the entered URL.
The background image does not need to have a specific color profile - the app automatically converts it to greyscale and caches it locally on the device.
Follow these steps to add your background:
- Login to the GOGET admin dashboard.
- Press "Manage" followed by "Workspaces" in the main menu.
- Find the room assigned to the meeting room display and open tab "Display Settings".
- Find the option "Background image" under "Main Settings" category.
- Enter the URL and press save to immediately update the display.
SIGNATURE themeFor this theme, you can make the following modification:
- Use color background image (disable for greyscale): Enable this option to display the background image in full color. Disable it to apply a greyscale filter instead.
LUME theme
For this theme, you can make the following modifications:
- Use color background image (disable for greyscale): Enable this option to display the background image in full color. Disable it to apply a greyscale filter instead.
- Adjust background opacity to show status colors: Controls how much the room status color tints the image. Lowering the image opacity allows the status color to show through, making the room status easier to see at a glance.
100% = Image only
50% = Balanced
0% = Status color only
Example below shows the balanced opacity setting:
- Custom status colors (not recommended): Allows you to define custom HEX colors that override the default background status colors. This setting only affects the background (not the status cards) and is visible only if the background image opacity is below 100%.
Add organization logo
A customized company logo which is always shown can be added to the display. Enable this by entering a full URL where the logo image is located (e.g. https://www.example.com/logo.jpg). Remember that large image files can take some time to load, so please be patient. Also note that your unit needs to have access to the entered URL.
Follow these steps to add your logo:
- Login to the GOGET admin dashboard.
- Press "Manage" followed by "Workspaces" in the main menu.
- Find the room assigned to the meeting room display and open tab "Display Settings".
- Find the option"Logo image" under "Main Settings" category.
- Enter the URL and press save to immediately update the display.
