There are a number of settings to adjust the app.
This article covers:

- General information & connectivity status
- Network settings
- Date & time
- Locale
- Font size & style
- General
- Kiosk Mode
- Notifications
Open app settings
Press the hamburger icon in the top right corner (three horizontal lines) and select "Admin" to open app settings menu.
General information & connectivity status
The main screen displays the Device ID and Version, which correspond to the device's name in the admin Dashboard and the software version it's currently running, respectively. Additionally, the connectivity status is presented:
- Streaming: This indicates whether meeting events are pushed from your calendar provider to the device via our IoT service, or if the device retrieves events at regular intervals. For Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, the status should be "Streaming available". For Exchange EWS, the status will be "Streaming unknown", as it does not support this feature.
- Push: This shows whether a functional IoT connection exists between the device and the GOGET cloud. Without this connection, any events sent from the admin dashboard will not reach the device.
If streaming is unavailable and your calendar provider is either Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, we recommend checking the status of the calendar integration in the web admin dashboard.
For troubleshooting issues with Push, we first recommend checking that the local network allows the settings outlined in this article.
Network settings
Depending on your device, Wi-Fi or LAN/Ethernet settings can be accessed. When connecting via an Ethernet cable, we recommend setting a static IP address for the device.
Date & time
Select your preferred date and time zone/format settings.
"For GOGET One devices, it is possible to configure a custom NTP service if your organization prefers to use a specific time server.
Locale
Select your localization settings and language for the main UI.
Font size & style
Set font settings.
General
There are four options:
- Unlink pairing - This action unpairs the device, allowing it to be used with another dashboard account.
- Screen cleaning mode - Disables touch input for 2 minutes, allowing for safe cleaning of the display.
- LED status indicators - Manually turn the LED indicators on or off. This option only applies to hardware devices equipped with LED support.
- Updates - Check for new versions of the app. The software will automatically download and install updates every 48 hours.
Kiosk Mode
Kiosk mode is a method of making sure that users cannot exit the Room Display X app. Follow the "Turn On" and "Turn Off" guides to activate/deactivate. Note that full kiosk mode where the device is completely locked down is only available for GOGET One device.
In the tab "More" there are settings for making sure that you can exit the application at all times:
- Clear the Default Launcher - reset so that the home button will exit to Android OS.
- System Home Button - same command as pressing the home button. Used for devices were the Android Navigation Bar is disabled.
- Set Device Admin - Advanced setting which allows Room Display X to activate a screen lock on the device.
Since kiosk mode is an inherently complicated feature we do not guarantee that all Android OS devices can support it.
