Settings templates are used to 1) quickly apply specific settings configurations to new rooms/desks and 2) rapidly change settings for a large number of rooms/desks simultaneously.

Add new settings templates
Settings templates can be seen as a "blueprint" for quickly applying changes to settings for workspace items such as rooms and desks. Create a new template by:
- Go to "Organization Settings -> Settings Template" menu item in admin dashboard.
- Press "Add template" and select the room or desk option.
- Follow the on-screen guide to configure the settings to your needs. Make sure to press "Save" once finished.
Now you have added a settings profile that can be used either to apply settings to a newly created room/desk or to modify an existing one.
Edit existing settings templates
Settings templates can be easily edited by pressing the three vertical dots and then selecting the "Edit" option.
Apply template settings to workspace items
For multiple rooms/desks
Quickly change settings in bulk for existing rooms/desks by using the transfer settings wizard. Please note that templates are not permanently assigned to specific rooms, so any changes in templates would need to be re-transferred to rooms/desks.
- Go to "Organization Settings -> Settings Template" menu item in admin dashboard.
- Press "Transfer" to open the settings transfer wizard.
- Follow the three step process:
- Step 1: Select the settings template you want to copy settings from.
- Step 2: Select which workspace items that should receive new settings, by pressing "Select workspaces".
- Step 3: Select which settings from the template you wish to copy to the workspaces. Then press "Apply".
Note that the transfer wizard will copy settings from the templates to the applied rooms/desks. Therefore, if any changes are made to the template, these changes will need to be re-transferred to the workspaces.
For individual rooms/desks
- Go to "Manage -> Workspaces" menu item in admin dashboard.
- Find the room or desk you want to change settings for.
- Press the room/desk settings template icon and follow the guide.
Apply settings from a template when creating a new room or desk
