Pairing hardware devices with the GOGET platform is easy and once paired the device is ready to be assigned to a room, or wayfinder.
This article covers:
Pair device with dashboard

- Write down the pairing code.
- Login to the GOGET admin dashboard.
- Go to"Manage -> Devices" in the main menu.
- Click "Add device" and then follow the instructions.
Manage devices
Paired devices are listed in the main view with information on their current status.
Check device status
Latest Sync: shows the last time the device successfully pinged the cloud server.
- If the last sync was more than 16 hours ago, a “Warning” status is shown.
- If the last sync was more than 24 hours ago, an “Offline” status is shown.
Note: Devices are expected to sync with the cloud server once every eight hours.
Push Connectivity: reflects the IoT push connectivity status of a device, represented by either a green or yellow bell icon.
- Available status: indicates there is an active IoT connection, allowing the device to receive events sent from the GOGET Cloud.
- Unavailable status: indicates that a stable connection with the IoT service could not be established, preventing events sent from the GOGET Cloud from reaching the device.
Please note that a device displaying an unavailable status can still synchronize and edit meetings, as these functions do not depend on an active IoT push connection.
IoT push connectivity troubleshooting
To resolve issues with the IoT connection, we recommend following these steps:
- Verify network compliance: Ensure that the local network complies with the necessary firewall requirements as specified in this article. Pay special attention to the configurations for ws-eu.pusher.com.
- Check network stability: Verify the stability of the network. For example, run a ping test within the local network every minute over a 24-hour period, and log the results in a .txt file. This helps to confirm that all packets are being properly delivered. Network instability is a common cause of IoT issues.
- Assign static IPs to the affected devices.
- For non-GOGET hardware: Ensure that no third-party software or OEM additions to the Android OS are installed, as these can interfere with the application and networking.
