Adjust room name labels
When configuring an Interactive Map, label placement can be adjusted per room to improve readability in dense layouts.
By default, room labels are center-aligned. In floor plans with many adjacent rooms, labels may then overlap. The label alignment setting allows to reposition labels individually to improve clarity for end-users.
When label alignment applies:
The label alignment setting is only applied for rooms with Shapes. If a room is using:
- Marker only
- Shapes + Markers
The alignment setting is ignored, and labels follow the default placement below the marker.
Adjust label alignment for a room:
- Click on the room name in the right hand side column.
- Select one of the following:
- Top
- Center (default)
- Center – rotated 45°
- Bottom
- The label position updates immediately in the map preview after selection. No separate save action is required. Note! If you have a Wayfinder press the "Push map updates" button to make sure it's updated.
